Topic: Rainforest
Our first topic in Primary 7 is the rainforest .
We have been learning all about where rainforests are located, the difference between tropical and temperate rainforests, the layers of the rainforest and most recently we were learning about rainforest animals. We researched geckos, toucan and frogs.
We used oil pastels to create our toucans.
We have been learning about the wide variety of frogs in the rainforest. We used repeated image and colour patterns to create our frog artwork. We used wax crayons and a wash of colours.
We really enjoyed creating our rainforest haiku poems. We hope you enjoy reading them.
We designed trees in the style of Kandinsky, focusing on his use of concentric circles.
